Bells

This bell is supposed to represent Telstra Tower in Canberra by being a similar shape to the actual tower. Some of these smaller items that have been photographed really needs another item along side to give a real life size perspective. Perhaps that is something that I can do another day.

This 25 year wedding anniversary bell was give to us by Sally's cousin Carol who was a Bridesmaid at out wedding. From the bottom of the bell to the top of the ring is approximately 2.5 inches.

This bell represents Canberra's Parliament House.

Coffee Cups

The images of the Blue Wren inside of the coffee cup caught my eye in this photo.

After taking the above photo of the Blue Wren cup. it gave me the idea to look for more cups in our cupboard to photograph.

This will be my last posting of photos until after Easter so have a great Easter and more photos coming early next week.

Bells

Between Sally and myself, we have rather a comprehensive collection of bells. All of these shown here are from Sally's collection.

As some of these bells are very small, to get the best from them I have used my 2x lens converter to bring them up to a good size image for each photo.

As time progresses, I will post more images of bells.

Planes

The first two photos were taken at the viewing area to the Adelaide Airport during the early part of the day. This had us looking towards the sun which wasn't good for light. Photos during the middle to late afternoon would have been better.

Smaller Rex aircraft.

The last two photos were taken at the Parafield Airport at an air show. Unfortunately the day was overcat reducing the light.

Planes have come along way from the begining to what we fly in today.

Water Reflections

Sally has on many occasions commented on the water reflections that she passes on her way to work on some mornings as was the case yesterday morning.

Knowing this, we headed for the water to capture some of the reflections although there was at times too much cloud cover to let the sun shine.

This one was taken at the Patawalonga boat harbor near Glenelg.

Another one taken looking accross the Patawalonga at Glenelg.

Liquid Amber.

Jacob's Creek with a red background today, what do you think. I rather like the red for this photo but others will have their own opinion.

It would have to be a personal choice as to who likes the red or the blue background. Fore me I am leaning towards the red for this photo.

I have really enjoyed today's photos as I am not one to waste a good drop so I have had to drink the contents of each glass after the photo shoot.

Carlton Draught makes for a good drop and a good photo against the blue background with the red grapes to the front.

The red and green colors of the Coopers home brew mix well with the blue background.

With a photo that was one stop over exposed, the blue background was more evident. I prefer this one with the correct exposure.

Sally just had to put the Crow on top of the home brew can.

Bear, Coco, Ruby & Missie

Bear to the left and Coco to the right are two very active Border Collie dogs which took a bit to keep still to take any sort of photo.

The idea of this photo was a birthday present with the photo taken and finally mounted in a 12"x18" frame by the days end.

While walking away from our vehicle, I happened to turn around to see Ruby to the left and Missie to the right watching me as I walked away to photograph an old building.

It was a simple point and shoot photo that now hangs on our lounge room wall.
