Cleland Wildlife Park.

Imagine what you would do next if you come across this Monitor Lizard when you were not expecting it. I think most of us would be heading for a toilet.

This large fella can be found at the Cleland Wildlife Park in Adelaide South Australia.










Like so many of the animals at Cleland, it is all rest and no work. Visitors have the luxury of walking amongst most of the animals within their huge holding areas.

Even this kangaroo isn't put off by people strolling by.

Birds.

A white fantail pigeon which was happily cooling itself near a sprinkler on a hot afternoon at a caravan park in Elliston on the west coast of South Australia.










Blue Wren which was well back in the bushes in one of Cleland Wildlife Park's large walk through aviaries.

Australian Kangaroos.

These three images were all taken at the Cleland Wildlife Park where there is an abundance of kangaroos. Like this albino kangaroo, they were all content to laze around and were not bothered by humans.









All of the kangaroos were located in large open areas so that should they want to move around, then there was no restrictions for them to do so.









Mum with her baby in the pouch didn't mind being hand fed. If a kangaroo was laying down when a visitor walked up to feed them, they would remain in that position while eating as if it was all too hard to move from such a comfortable position.

Australian Dingo.

All three of these photos were taken at the Cleland Wildlife Park at Adelaide South Australia where there is a good exhibition display of the Australian Dingo.









The dingo is a very pretty animal to look at and it isn't hard to work out how people can be attracted to them when they are seen out in their natural habitat in the wild.









They are very alert and always know what is happening around themselves. They walk around with grace and are never frightened by anyone or anything.
