Miniature Village.

The Wild Rose Garden and Tearoom is situated a few kilometres Adelaide side of Victor Harbor on the Adelaide to Victor Harbor road. As well as the Tea Room where you can enjoy some lovely scones with jam and cream, there is also a Rose Garden and Miniature Village.












To walk around and view the Miniature Village which is spread out amongst lush green scenery and manicured lawn areas, it can make for a relaxing afternoon in the winter sunshine when combined with the hot scones with jam & cream.

Hot Rods.

This series was taken at the National Hot Rod show near Barmera in the Riverland in South Australia.

With a V8 under the bonnet and the red paint job, one wonders how fast it goes on the road.









Bit like the old saying "boys with their toys". Many hours of work and no doubt a lot of passion and satisfaction would go into creating these machines.









The age and colour combination of some of the vehicles would make them stand out in a crowd.

Bells

As we travel around, Sally will add to the collection of Bells. This one having been collected from a trip to Halls Gap in Victoria.

















Bells of different colours and sizes are all added to the collection. There are so many on the market, it will only be room here to store them that will slow the increase in bell numbers down.

















Simple designs create different appearances which all adds to the overall collection.

Light Tent.

This photo is of a set of wine bottle stoppers which have been photographed in the light tent. I prefer to make sure the bottle of wine is all gone so that the stoppers are not required to be used keeping them in pristine condition for photos.









A few coloured easter eggs scattered by a falling glass makes for nice colours when photographed.











I purchased this small Samurai Sword when I was in Japan a few years ago. Again taken in the light tent, the sword is only approximately 150mm long.

Statues

All of these photos are approximately 40mm tall with this wren statue being the smallest of them all. In the wild, these birds are very hard to photograph because of their habit of continually hoping around and never stopping still.
















The rough texture of the body on this little teddy paints a picture of a hard life. While he is holding a football, it also depicts happiness and contentment.















The penguin is made out of some sort of plastic and stands the tallest out of them all.

Bells

This bell is supposed to represent Telstra Tower in Canberra by being a similar shape to the actual tower. Some of these smaller items that have been photographed really needs another item along side to give a real life size perspective. Perhaps that is something that I can do another day.













This 25 year wedding anniversary bell was give to us by Sally's cousin Carol who was a Bridesmaid at out wedding. From the bottom of the bell to the top of the ring is approximately 2.5 inches.
















This bell represents Canberra's Parliament House.

Bells

Between Sally and myself, we have rather a comprehensive collection of bells. All of these shown here are from Sally's collection.














As some of these bells are very small, to get the best from them I have used my 2x lens converter to bring them up to a good size image for each photo.
